We have been friends since grade school and gone through the many ups and downs of life and come through together each in one piece. A few years ago we decided a goal on our Bucket Lists was to visit all 50 states of America together. As of today we have been to 13. Come along on our next adventure. 5/13/11
The Plan
The Plans is to leave the Kansas City area after Wendy flies in and head to southeast Missouri, where Darlene's dad lives...free lodging but don't tell him. LOL Then we head through Memphis to the New Orleans area. Then east through Mississippi and Alabama into Florida where we will visit Wendy's uncle. Then on east across the top of Florida to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. Then north to Asheville, NC and westward through the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg, TN through Nashville and St. Louis back towards home.

New Orleans
New Orleans - we spent our time in the French Quarter. It was unique and we enjoyed it but I have to say it doesn't smell very good. Pictures have "NO" for reference.
